Quist <br /> Amendment (AM-1) <br /> Request for an Amendment <br /> <br />Please be advised that on May 15, 2025, George L. Quist, whose address and telephone number are 1849 <br />Trail Creek Rd, Lake George, CO 80827; (719) 337-2067, filed an application for a/an Amendment (AM- <br />1) to M2023002, Quist Mining, which is located approximately 6 miles Northeast of Lake George, Section <br />11, Township 12S, Range 71W, 06th Principle Meridian, in Teller County. <br /> <br />Applicant wishes to expand the permit from 2 acres (following the simultaneous approval of Acreage <br />Reduction AR1) back to 5 acres by adding mining areas on his nearby Silver Microcline and Hilltop Claims. <br /> <br />A decision date has been set for June 14, 2025.Written comments or objections to the application may be <br />submitted to and additional information obtained from Elliott R. Russell at the Division of Reclamation, <br />Mining and Safety, 1313 Sherman St. Room 215 Denver, CO 80203, by telephone at (303) 903-4456. <br /> <br />George L. Quist is required to publish a public notice in a newspaper of general circulation in the locality of <br />the mining operation. If you wish to make comments on or objections to the mine plan and/or the <br />reclamation plan, they must be submitted within ten (10) days of the newspaper public notice to be <br />considered in the application review process by the Division. You should contact the applicant for the <br />newspaper publication date.
