1.2.5 Cultural Practices

In 2024 Trapper also conducted several other cultural practices. These practices are
addressed below.

Drainage Reconstruction

Refer to Section 3.0 of this annual report.

Contour Ditch Construction

During 2024, Trapper did not construct any contour ditches.

Stock Tank Construction

No new Stock Tanks were constructed during the 2024 field season. Refer to Section 6.

Stock Tank Reclamation

No Stock Tanks were reclaimed during the 2024 field season. Refer to Section 6.

Developmental Drill Sites

No Developmental Drilling occurred during the 2024 season.

All applicable developmental drill holes were abandoned per permit section 3.3.2 and will be
reclaimed and seeded per section 3.6.3.5 of the permit. Drill hole abandonment typically uses
Alternative 2 for sealing of the borehole.

Topsoil Piles

During 2024 pile JE24-1 was constructed west of the D-Pit haulroad to hold stripped materials
from J-East Pit. Pile A76-4 was relocated to pile JE24-1 in advance of J-East Pit. A portion of
pile E79-D22-B was used for laydown in D Pit. Pile L23-1 received additional topsoil from
stripping operations in L-Pit, K Knob area. Refer to Section 5.

Sediment Dams

Sediment ponds Johnson #10 was partially cleaned at the inlet, No Name #2 and Middle Flume
#3 received perimeter cleaning of the inlet delta. Dozer basins and stock ponds were cleaned
and or repaired in East Pyeatt, Middle Flume, East Flume, No Name, Johnson and Deal
drainages. New Sediment pond East Buzzard #3 received additional fill on the dam to remedy
a low freeboard issue during the summer of 2024.

1.2.6 Previously Revegetated Acres

The locations and acres for all previously revegetated areas, seeded to perennial species, are
presented in Map(s) 1. To date, Trapper has revegetated approximately 4,496.0 acres. Of the
total revegetated acres, 3,935.0 reclaimed acres have received final phase III bond release.
The phase III total includes 6.6 acres of re-disturbance in the J Pit area during 2024.

Not shown on Map(s) 1 in this annual report are the areas seeded to temporary perennial mixes
that will require final reclamation prior to the end of the project (life of mine).
