RULE 2 PERMITS <br /> Main Office <br /> The main office for the Colowyo operation is located in Section 34, Township 4 North, Range 93 <br /> West. The office houses Colowyo's administration, engineering, environmental, and accounting, <br /> departments. <br /> Shops,Warehouse Facility, Change/Production Facility <br /> Colowyo maintains several shops, a warehouse facility, and change production building at the <br /> operation covering approximately 30 acres in Section 34, T4N, R93W of the 6th P.M.. <br /> Mechanical repair work on the mobile mining equipment fleet is performed at the shop facility and <br /> in the field. A welding facility and tire bay is also a part of the shop facility. The warehouse <br /> contains an inventory of equipment parts for use in the comprehensive maintenance program. The <br /> warehouse yard also provides storage of the larger parts due to limited covered building space. <br /> Employees use the change facility/production building in this location before and after their shift <br /> to change either into their work clothes or back into their street clothing. Shower facilities are <br /> provided in the change complex. Additional structures in the complex include a diesel fueling and <br /> gasoline fueling station for both the large mobile mine equipment and the mine pickup truck fleet, <br /> a tank farm building and numerous above ground storage tanks.. Mobile equipment and employee <br /> parking areas are also provided at the complex. Several coal stockpile areas as shown on Map 22A <br /> are found near the shop facility to provide for temporary storage of the coal. A reclamation storage <br /> building, sign storage building,potable water treatment plant,powder magazines,and a temporary <br /> hazardous waste storage facility are also located in this area. <br /> Drainage from the shop and warehouse complex is collected as shown on the Map 12 and 12A <br /> This structure has been designed as shown under the Ponds,Impoundments and Diversions Section <br /> of 2.05.3. <br /> Laboratory, Production Office. Personnel Offices and Chance Room Facility <br /> Colowyo maintains a multi-purpose facility covering approximately 2 acres in Section 34, <br /> Township 4 North, Range 93 West of the 6th P.M.. This facility contains two structures as shown <br /> on the Existing Structures - South Map (Map 22). <br /> Coal analysis is performed in the-laboratory portion of the larger structure. Production crews have <br /> locker, shower, and toilet -facilities provided in part of the larger structure. The remainder of the <br /> larger structure is used for training, safety, crew assembly, and production management offices. <br /> The smaller structure contains offices for the Human Resources Department. Included in this area <br /> is a paved parking lot used for all production and maintenance personnel based in the area and <br /> some company owned small vehicles. <br /> Drainage from this area is collected as shown on Map 12—Hydrology - South Map and Map 12A <br /> Gossard and Mine Maintenance Areas. <br /> Rule 2 Permits 2.05-6 Revision Date: 12/20/19 <br /> Revision No.: TR-135 <br />
