West <br /> <br />RE: San Luis Project - File No. M-1988-112, Battle Mountain Resources, Inc. <br /> Amendment (AM-4) <br /> Installation of a Groundwater Intercept Wall <br /> <br />Please be advised that on April 16, 2025, Battle Mountain Resources, Inc., whose address and telephone <br />number are 6900 E Layton Ave, Denver, CO 80237; (303) 837-5729, filed an application for a/an <br />Amendment (AM- 4) to M1988112, San Luis Project, which is located approximately 4 miles Northeast of <br />San Luis, Section 22, Township 32S, Range 71W, 06th Principle Meridian, in Costilla County. <br /> <br />This Amendment addresses the installation of a bentonite based slurry wall to prevent groundwater from <br />entering the backfilled West Pit and becoming contaminated. <br /> <br />A decision date has been set for July 15, 2025.Written comments or objections to the application may be <br />submitted to and additional information obtained from Lucas J. West at the Division of Reclamation, Mining <br />and Safety, 1313 Sherman St. Room 215 Denver, CO 80203, by telephone at (303) 919-2997. <br /> <br />Battle Mountain Resources, Inc. is required to publish a public notice in a newspaper of general circulation in <br />the locality of the mining operation once per week for four consecutive weeks. If you wish to make <br />comments on or objections to the mine plan and/or the reclamation plan, they must be submitted within <br />twenty (20) days of the date of the last newspaper public notice to be considered in the application review <br />process by the Division. You should contact the applicant for the newspaper publication date. If we do not <br />receive your comments or any objection by the end of the public comment period, the Division will assume <br />you have no objection or comment to the proposed activity. <br /> <br />M-GR-03A-P
