Ref. Page No.M2009-006 00075
6.4.6 EXHIBIT F—Reclamation Map
The mining area will be reclaimed upon completion of mining operations. The area will be
restored to or substantially near the original contours of the Affected Property, with grades
required under the regulations of at least 3:1. In the western slope of the Affected Land
where the quarrying will occur, the current slope gradient is approximately 5:1.
Reclamation will follow mining completion in phases across the mineable area of the
Affected Land. These areas are noted as Phase 1 Area, Phase 2 Area and Phase 3 Area. The
area on the east side of the Affected Land is not mineable (i.e. it does not contain
commercially viable materials). This area will not be mined, but may be used for storage or
transport staging area. This Area will be reclaimed with Phase 3. Ponds located on the
eastern side of the Affected Land are not used in mining operation and will not be affected
or altered by reclamation. The Reclamation Areas are noted on the Reclamation Map
attached as Map F-1.
The road identified on Map F-1 (in white) have existed and been in active use priorto the date
of this Application, and have been used for activities in addition to mining. This road will be
reclaimed to use as roads and maintained with that intention during mining operations.
Roads built for and used in mining operations and shown in grey with dashed outline within
the Subject Property boundaries, will be reclaimed to restore the natural pre-mining land as
described in the Reclamation Plan. Please note that the grey roadway off property to the
south of the property boundary is not used in mining operation and represents a"paper road"
identified on land records.
The intended post-mining use of the Subject Property is residential. As described in Exhibit
E (Reclamation Plan)the areas historically used for residential purposes will be restored to
suitable conditions for continued residential use and construction.
Overburden will be replaced at depths between 1' and 2' or deeper as necessary for final
subsurface grading. Topsoil will be replaced and graded to a depth of at least 1'. Vegetation
will be reestablished across the Affected Land with (i) grasses, shrubs and trees
reestablished on the sloped areas on the western side of the Affected Land west of the road
through the property (noted generally as the area west of the blue line delineating the non
mined area); and (ii) grasses in the eastern side of the Affected Land in the area noted as
non-mined. Vegetation will be replaced to be consistent with the vegetation cover as
currently generally existing across the Affected Land as shown in Image F-1 below.
Rest of page intentionally left blank.
