Comment/Objection Narrative*
The operations associated with permit M1977410 would have a profound impact on recreation in this region of
Nederland/Boulder County.Caribou road provides access to dispersed camping,4x4 roads,and trails in the
Roosevelt National Forest and eventually the Indian Peaks Wilderness area.After viewing the maps of the
proposed permit area, I am appalled at the proposed use of the land and hope the permit modification is
rejected for the benefit of the local residents,town of Nederland and anyone in the county who values this area
as a place to enjoy nature and wildlife.The safety and loss of use concerns are staggering.
