I learned to backcountry ski and snowboard at
caribou. I know that plenty of other people have as well. I know many local residents and others come from all
over the front range to come ski this relatively safe area in what is known as a notoriously dangerous snow
pack around the state. It's a great spot for safe skiing where people can learn and have a great time. While this
does not necessarily translate to a financial gain to the local community what it provides in learning and
enjoyable backcountry experiences has undoubtedly saved lives. It would be a shame to make it so that people
now and in the future would not have the opportunity to enjoy this place the way that I have. Please consider
this while making your decision and thank you for your time.
Permitting Action Comment/Objection is Regarding
New Permit • Change to Existing Permit
Permit Number* (?)
Enter a valid permit number
M1977410
Revision Type and Sequence
Not known
I
