Please be as specific
as possible.
Comment/Objection Narrative*
I am a concerned resident of Nederland since 1995.Caribou is an amazing place, adjacent to wilderness and
enjoyed by outdoor enthusiasts of all kinds as well as the habitat for all of colorado creatures and home to
tributaries that feed down to the front rage and the reservoir. Expanding the mine operations from less than 10
acres to more than 200 will cause permanent damage to the eco system. I request you deny this expansion.
They need to show what and where they will operate as well as how they will mitigate ground level
contamination and surface erosion and air participation pollution. They need to demonstrate how they will
handle the excessive large truck traffic to the town of Nederland and down caribou road,a 4 by 4 dirt road. And
they need to prove they are good neighbors and stewards of public land. I am worried that it's too soon to trust
this company. Let them operate a few years under the current 8 acres and see how they handle the pollution
and traffic. Then reconsider in the future for a slight expansion...thank you
Permitting Action Comment/Objection is Regarding
New Permit • Change to Existing Permit
Permit Number*(?)
Enter a valid permit number
M1977410
