Project Water Requirements <br /> <br />After the water table is encountered, the water removed with the estimated 800,000 tons of product is 23.54 <br />acre-feet per year. At the maximum potentially exposed ground water of 52.95± acres, the annual <br />evaporation is 139.85± acre-feet. The monthly distribution of these estimates is shown in the following table. <br />The reclamation plan provides that the pits will be lined after being mined. The lined pits will not require <br />replacement water and will be used for storage. There may be incidental demand for water to establish <br />vegetation on the site after lining is completed. However, the ultimate demand for water will be zero. <br />Table 2.
