Please be as specific
as possible.
Comment/Objection Narrative*
Sludge, from Milton, discharged into Evans#2 Ditch, then translated to Lake Christina, adjacent property, must
be remedied and Mining operations must cease until mining operations are sufficient to exclude MILTON
WATER&SLUDGE from future contamination of adjacent water and property.
The west side of both MILTON and portions of the FEEDER canal, (Platte Valley Canal)have been for many
years protected by BUFFER ZONES, (WILDLIFE Buffers),the current and proposed HAUL ROADS North of
CR 34,adjacent to the WEST SIDE of Milton&the Canal IGNORE the buffer zones, thus there is drastic
concern for LOSS of WILDLIFE and DISTUBANCE of NESTING.
The residential area, (BBD Farms)to the west of the proposed mining area will be adversely affected by the
haul trucks and traffic along the proposed haul roads, NORTH of CR 32. In a public the FRICO, manager
declared that operations were to run 24 hours per day. Mitigation of DUST, NOISE,&Lighting, must be
addressed.
The submitted mining application, defines storage piles to a height of 150 ft. Soil/sand piles built to such a
height are objectional and aesthetically unpleasant.
Permitting Action Comment/Objection is Regarding
New Permit Change to Existing Permit
