Please be as specific
as possible.
Comment/Objection Narrative*
I am objecting to the permits for several reasons. FRICO has already proven that they are not good neighbors
for the following reasons:
1.They have caused extreme sludge issues and possibly other environmental issues to Lake Christina.
2.The FRICO's operations begun without permits in place;sand stockpiling,no dust suppression measures,
dredging since 2021, no air quality permit in place, etc. FRICO blatantly begun operating without local, state,or
federal oversight for years, what kind of damage have they already done?
There are many residents in the community with respiratory issues and based on FRICO's timeline provided at
the meeting on February 26,2025 this operation begun years ago! I would say this has most likely contributed
to their health issues. What is to say moving forward they will have any respect to local, state,or federal
agencies, laws put into place?
Our home is approximately%of a mile away from the sand piles but probably less than that from where the
mining facility/operating will be taking place and my wife does have asthma. This is a huge concern of ours.
With the dust, gas fumes, and lights and night this will definitely impact our lives negatively and potentially
medically!
We moved out here for the clean air,the dark skies with the bright stars and the wild life noises. Not the brights
lights and noises of machinery and trucks!
This will definitely affect our home values! It will make it difficult for us to sale. The potential for buyers who want
to live next to a mining operation are far less than a buyer wanting to live on a property with lake/reservoir views
or even land with other homes!
