EXHIBIT G WATER INFORMATION(CONT)
blue are outside the permit area (which is owned by Cannon Land
Company) . Cannon owns 12 wells . Of the 4 highlighted wells not
owned by Cannon, one (1) well is a deep well (highlighted dark
blue) and three (3) wells are shallow wells drawing water from
the surface aquifer (highlighted light blue or green) . The green
highlighted well is the only surface residential and the light
blue are irrigation wells .
Prior to exposing groundwater or installing a slurry wall
liner in any Phase, a well survey will be performed on any wells
within 200 feet of that Phase not owned by Cannon Land Company.
The only well that will not be tested will be the Pacheco well,
because it is in excess of 600 feet deep and will not be affected
by potential surface impacts due to mining. L.G. Everist will
attempt to obtain for each well to be tested the following data,
in addition to whatever basic well construction data is currently
available:
• Total well depth
• Depth to static water level,
• Depth of pump intake
• Conduct pump test to determine well yield (subject to SEO
Regulations)
• Conduct analytical sampling of all Domestic Drinking Water
parameters for any residential wells .
Data was collected in June and July 2021 at L.G. Everist' s
expense for one McPeak well and two Sakata wells . The data was
provided to DRMS and the well owner on September 23, 2021, a copy
of the report is provided in the APPENDIX. If a well owner chooses
not to allow the permittee access to collect the above data, they
will be provided with a form that they can sign and date to
document that they have been provided with an opportunity to have
their well characterized at the permittee' s expense, but have
chosen to decline to participate.
L.G. Everist, Inc. has installed 14 piezometers (a.k. a.
Monitoring Wells) around the mine. Their locations are shown on
the maps and on MAP EXHIBIT G-1 WELL MAP. L.G. Everist started data
collection in October 2019 and will do monthly readings
throughout the life of the mine. We will provide a summary of
the data yearly with the Annual Report .
Post Reclamation
Any slight groundwater mounding and shadowing associated
with the slurry wall sealed portions of the pit are not
anticipated to produce any adverse impacts to adjacent
L.G.
