Girardi RE: Korwell Dirt - File No. M-2022-034, Korwell Land Holdings, LLC Amendment (AM-1) Change post-mine land use to Industrial Please be advised that on January 17, 2025, Korwell Land Holdings, LLC, whose address and telephone number are P.O. Box 337282, Greeley, CO 80633; (970) 518-6205, filed an application for a/an Amendment (AM- 1) to M2022034, Korwell Dirt, which is located approximately 2.5 miles East of Gilcrest, CO, Section 25, Township 4N, Range 66W, 06th Principle Meridian, in Weld County. The Operator is requesting to change the post-mine land use to from general agriculture to industrial for the northeast quadrant of the permit area and conditionally change the rest of the post-mine land use from general agriculture to industrial. A decision date has been set for April 17, 2025.Written comments or objections to the application may be submitted to and additional information obtained from Chris M. Girardi at the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, 1313 Sherman St. Room 215 Denver, CO 80203, by telephone at (720) 793-3041. Korwell Land Holdings, LLC is required to publish a public notice in a newspaper of general circulation in the locality of the mining operation once per week for four consecutive weeks. If you wish to make comments on or objections to the mine plan and/or the reclamation plan, they must be submitted within twenty (20) days of the date of the last newspaper public notice to be considered in the application review process by the Division. You should contact the applicant for the newspaper publication date. If we do not receive your comments or any objection by the end of the public comment period, the Division will assume you have no objection or comment to the proposed activity. M-GR-03A-P
