P. ENVIRONMENTAL: LIQUID WASTES <br /> Methods approved by Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and <br /> Safety shall be used to eliminate the possibility of water pollution caused X <br /> by spills of materials and sedimentation run-off. <br /> Methods approved by Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and <br /> Safety shall be used to prevent spill hazards at bulk storage areas for X <br /> fuels, oils, or other fluids. <br /> All used fluids will be drained into clearly marked DOT containers. X <br /> Under no circumstances will fluids be allowed to drain onto the ground. X <br /> Equipment fueling and service procedures will not be performed on X <br /> topsoil. <br /> EPA Prevention and Control Procedures are to be followed in the event X <br /> of an accidental spill. <br /> All employees shall be trained by the CONTRACTOR in spill prevention, X <br /> cleanup and disposal of all wastes. <br /> All spills must be reported to Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining X <br /> and Safety Personnel Immediately. <br /> Reportable spills will be handled by the CONTRACTOR in accordance X <br /> with State of Colorado And EPA regulations. <br /> Q. ENVIRONMENTAL: SOLID, NON-HAZARDOUS WASTES <br /> Construction debris and excess materials shall be disposed of in a X <br /> container clearly marked "TRASH". <br /> Trash containers must be covered at all times to prevent wind-blown X <br /> litter. <br /> Employees must be instructed by the CONTRACTOR in procedures used X <br /> to segregate hazardous and non-hazardous wastes. <br /> All disposal activities must comply with federal and state regulations. X <br /> R. ENVIRONMENTAL: HAZARDOUS WASTES <br /> Contractor is responsible for all sampling, testing, and analysis of X <br /> unknown waste streams. <br /> Disposal of hazardous waste is the responsibility of the CONTRACTOR. X <br /> Contractor generated wastes such as equipment/machine oils, fuels, <br /> oily debris, residue paints, solvents, and containers containing same X <br /> shall be cleaned and disposed of in compliance with all local, state, <br /> and federal regulations. <br /> All containers will have CONTRACTOR's name clearly marked on the X <br /> containers. <br /> Aerosol cans, oily rags, solvents and waste lubricants shall be X <br /> segregated into separate containers. <br /> All drums will be stored in an upright position, on pallets or similar device X <br /> to facilitate observation for leaks, corrosion or damage. <br /> Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety SPECIFIC CONDITIONS <br /> SHEAP <br /> As of 6/20/2012 Page 5 <br />
