2024-2025 Valley's Edge Resource Substitute Water Supply Plan Renewal Page 5 of 10 <br /> December 17, 2024 <br /> Vrain River and the South Platte River and the point of discharge of the replacement water, <br /> and there is no intervening calling water right. <br /> The Hite Treatment Facility is located approximately 22 miles upstream of the Pit. The <br /> delivery schedule includes a transit loss of 0.5% per mile (11% for 22 miles) during the <br /> months of April through October and 0.25% per mile (5.5% for 22 miles) during the months of <br /> November through March. Conveyance loss for delivery of augmentation water to the South <br /> Platte River is subject to assessment and modification as determined by the Division <br /> Engineer. <br /> Conditions of Approval <br /> This SWSP is hereby approved in accordance with section 37-90-137(11), C.R.S. subject to <br /> the following conditions: <br /> 1. This SWSP is approved with the effective date of November 1, 2024 through October <br /> 31, 2025, unless otherwise revoked or superseded by decree. If this plan is not <br /> decreed in water court by the SWSP expiration date, a renewal request must be <br /> submitted to this office with the statutory fee of $257 no later than August 1, <br /> 2025. If a renewal request is received after the expiration date of this plan, it will <br /> be considered a request for a new SWSP and the $1,593 filing fee will apply. <br /> 2. Approval of this SWSP is for the purposes stated herein. Additional uses for the water <br /> that is the subject of this SWSP will be allowed only if a new SWSP is approved for <br /> those additional uses. <br /> 3. Well Permit 82057-F has been issued for this pit, and this permit remains valid. The <br /> permit covers up to 30 acres of exposed surface area and allows for annual water uses <br /> of up to 118.23 acre-feet for evaporation losses, water lost with the mined product, <br /> and dust control. Actual depletions cannot exceed these amounts and are limited to <br /> those uses specifically approved through this SWSP. <br /> 4. The total surface area of the groundwater exposed at the Valley's Edge Resource <br /> Gravel Mine must not exceed the area shown on attached Table 1 during this SWSP <br />
