Cross Gold Mine
December 2024 U-11

Monitoring wells at Cross Gold Mine will effectively facilitate the monitoring of groundwater conditions in
the vicinity of the mine. These wells are already installed, listed earlier in this exhibit, with locations and
designs shown on Exhibit C maps. Exhibit G contains full groundwater discussion for the operation.
There are no geological or geochemical conditions that the operation of the monitoring wells will affect
or that will affect its efficacy as an EPF. The wells are a passive monitoring system and have been
installed properly.

The water treatment systems in place at the Cross Gold mine will effectively filter metal bearing sulfides
from mine water and allow said water’s discharge from the Cross Gold Mine without incident.
There are no geological or geochemical conditions that the operation of the water treatment facility will
affect or that will affect its efficacy as an EPF.

Ore storage at Cross Gold Mine will effectively contain ore shipping offsite for continued processing. It
will also keep stormwater from interacting with ore by storing it within a building.
There are no geological or geochemical conditions that the operation of the ore pad will affect or that
will affect its efficacy as an EPF.
