III
M-2001-001 Line Camp Pit Amendment#2 (Expansion)
Exhibit C. PRE-MINING AND MINING PLAN MAP(S)OF AFFECTED LANDS(6.4.3)
INDEX:
C-1. General site conditions (from National Map)showing present contours (above ordinary high-
water mark, OHWM) and permanent structures with owners
C-2. General site conditions (2023)showing affected areas and permanent structures with owners
C-3. General site conditions (2024) showing area outside permit area used to store processed
construction materials removed from the permit area; current ground conditions and approximate
water level (lower than OHWM due to time of year of photo)
C-4. Proposed sequence of mining for expansion area, showing proposed mining and facilities,
including sequence by years. (Expansion area only)
C-5. Closeup of expansion area August 2024
NOTES FOR MAPS
The western boundary of the permit area is the right-of-way for Colorado Highway 145, assumed
to be 33.0 feet from centerline of the highway. The fence is irregularly placed, probably due to
rocks and other obstacles. Utilities easements are either in the right of way or within a strip of
approximately 5 feet width outside the right-of-way. There are no recorded easements for the
proposed affected area except at the point where the access road and ramp connect to the
highway.
Information on soils is shown on Map in Exhibit I.
Information on vegetation is shown on Map in Exhibit J.
Adjoining surface owners (landowners) of record are shown on Map in Exhibits B, 0, and S.
Information on permanent or man-made structures is shown in Table in Exhibit S.
Existing topography of the area with direction and rate of slopes: The entire current operating
area drains internally into the ponds. Theoretically, the bar ditch and outer slope of the berm flows
to the south and into the Home Ditch but due to roughness of the natural surface and berm, there
is no flow. An estimated area of the armored bank in the southeast corner of the existing pit and
ponds of 50 by 300 feet dues again theoretically flow into the river directly but generally, together
with the semi-circular wooded area, infiltrates without surface flow. The exception to this is of
course a 100-year or less probability flood event, which includes all excavated areas and flows to
the south. Slopes, except for berms and excavated slopes, is 2% or less. Berms slope vary but
range as high as 3H:1 V— generally less than 2H:1 V and stabilized by grass/forbs.
Total area to be involved in the operation including:
• Area to be mined (excavated): New 18.9 acres, total: 48.0 acres
• Area of affected lands, including:
o Access roads
o Stockpiles
o Surface water control measures
o Plant location(s)
o Areas as required by County regulations
• Type of vegetation covering the affected lands: primarily native and cultivated
grasses with some shrubs; cottonwood riparian woodlands adjacent.
5182-22-001 lArASTELINE, INC.
