Armstrong <br /> <br />RE: Lamar Park Grav Pit - File No. M-1987-078, City of Lamar <br /> Amendment (AM-1) <br /> Change the post-mining land use to industrial/commercial to match the current use of the <br />surrounding property owned by the City of Lamar. <br /> <br />Please be advised that on November 19, 2024, City of Lamar, whose address and telephone number are 102 <br />E Parmenter St, Lamar, CO 81052; (719) 336-1304, filed an application for a/an Amendment (AM- 1) to <br />M1987078, Lamar Park Grav Pit, which is located approximately 0 miles of Lamar, Section 29, Township <br />22S, Range 46W, 06th Principle Meridian, in Prowers County. <br /> <br />Change the post-mining land use to industrial/commercial to match the current use of the surrounding <br />property owned by the City of Lamar. <br /> <br />A decision date has been set for December 19, 2024.Written comments or objections to the application may <br />be submitted to and additional information obtained from Ursula E. Armstrong at the Division of <br />Reclamation, Mining and Safety, 1313 Sherman St. Room 215 Denver, CO 80203, by telephone at (720) <br />793-3031. <br /> <br />City of Lamar is required to publish a public notice in a newspaper of general circulation in the locality of the <br />mining operation. If you wish to make comments on or objections to the mine plan and/or the reclamation <br />plan, they must be submitted within ten (10) days of the newspaper public notice to be considered in the <br />application review process by the Division. You should contact the applicant for the newspaper publication <br />date. If we do not receive your comments or any objection by the end of the public comment period, the <br />Division will assume you have no objection or comment to the proposed activity. <br /> <br />M-GR-03A-P
