Seep — covers about 500 ft.2 on upper face of sed. Pond, about
300 ft. from crest of hill below shop, In Kw. Water is collecting
in puddles and evaporating and sinking in, sample taken as close
to seep as possible. "Pond" is below topsoil storage. Flow less
than '/2 gpm.

Spring — gw
Spring in pit wall above road about 30 ft. below top of cut,
flowing less than 5 gpm, disturbed area above, sample at source
of flow.

Seep — gw
Not enough flow to measure, in pit above X -seam, water flowed
in summer '79.

Seep —gw
Sample from standing water, source is X -seam coal but no
measureable flow, X -seam saturated approximately 15 feet below
top of seam.

Spring inside of creek above pit, area above undisturbed,
stratigraphically is below X -seam, flow 3 -5 gpm.

Appears to be approximately 30 feet lower than 5 but is in pit
wall, water was sampled at source again below X -seam.

Samples taken at top and bottom of pond, at bottom of
everything, water standing black with coal dust.
