Mine and reclaim Phase 5&6 according to 8.5 years <br /> approved plans.Reclamation occurs as mining <br /> has reached its maximum extents in an area. <br /> Stripping of Phase 6 occurs towards the end of <br /> mining in Phase 5. <br /> Total —21 years <br /> 3. Mine Facilities and Operation <br /> The site will contain the following facilities and equipment: <br /> Facilities: <br /> - Portable toilet <br /> - Mine office (portable) <br /> - Portable fuel storage <br /> - Portable concrete plant <br /> - Portable asphalt plant <br /> - Portable crusher/screen <br /> Equipment: <br /> - Front-end loaders <br /> - Bulldozers <br /> - Scrapers <br /> - Haul trucks (off highway) <br /> - Water trucks <br /> - Graders <br /> - Excavators <br /> - Conveyors <br /> Asphalt Specialties will provide portable toilets and bottled water to employees on site during <br /> operations. Fuel will be stored on site in the processing area. Storage of such fuel will be <br /> maintained in accordance with the Evans Pit SPCC Plan. All facilities at Evans Pit will be <br /> removed during reclamation. <br /> Plants used at the Evans Industrial Site are included in the permit boundary but will remain <br /> following mining and reclamation at the site. <br /> Recycled aggregate from the Evans Pit may be used as backfill as needed to facilitate the <br /> reclamation material balance. All such material will be certified clean by the operator. Any import <br /> backfill material will be received only if it is certified clean by the importing party. A certification <br /> form is attached to this exhibit. <br /> 4. Topsoil and Overburden Handling <br /> Topsoil ranges from 6 to 8 inches. Overburden ranges from 2 to 4 feet throughout the site, for <br /> an average of 3 feet. Topsoil and overburden will be stripped with appropriate earthmoving <br /> equipment as deemed suitable for the operation such as front-end loaders, dozers, excavators, <br /> and water trucks.
