8. <br /> District Ranger or his appointed representatives and that <br /> at least 2 inspections will be made during the <br /> course of the operation and a final inspection viii be wade <br /> at the close of the operation annually or on cessation of <br /> the operation, to insure compliance of the provisions of the <br /> Operating Plan and where applicable to determine if bond <br /> requirements have been satisfied. <br /> 15. (a) Section 228.9 Maintenance during Operations, public safety: <br /> It is herein agreed that during all operations, the operator <br /> shall maintain his structures, equipment, and other facilities <br /> - in a safe, neat and workmanlike manner. Hazardous sites or <br /> conditions resulting from the operations shall be marked by <br /> signs, fenced or otherwise identified to protect the public. <br /> 16. (a) Section 228.10, Cessation of Operations, removal of structures <br /> and equipment; <br /> Unless otherwise authorized by the Authorized Officer, !.t is <br /> agreed to remove within <p on cessation of operations, <br /> (months) <br /> all structures,equipment, and other facilities and clean up <br /> the site of operations. Other than seasonally, where <br /> operations have ceased temporarily, it is agreed to file a <br /> statement with the District Ranger which includes: <br /> • 1. Verification of intent to maintain the structures, <br /> equipment and other facilities; <br /> 2. Advise of the expected date of resuming operations; <br /> 3. Provide an estimate of the extended duration of operations. <br /> It in iUrthc;r agreed that (a) a statement will be filed each <br /> year by the operator in the event operations are not reactivated <br />
