Post Mining Land Use
TMI's objective is to restore the affected areas to the land uses prior to mining as indicated in section
4.2 of the permit. There are two significant land uses within the permit boundary: grazing of domestic
livestock and use by wildlife. The bond release block has been backfilled and graded to create a
topography conducive for use as rangeland for livestock and wildlife.
Sedimentology
The condition of the sediment ponds and any needed maintenance on the ponds receiving runoff from
the bond release parcels are systematically evaluated. Ponds receiving runoff from the bond release
parcels, specifically No Name and Johnson systems as per Map 2 above, are also receiving flow from
affected lands not under consideration for bond release currently.
Photo 9: I Pit overview with temporary vegetation beginning to green, drone imagery.
Summary and Conclusions
Based upon a review of the mine permit, the applicant's bond release application, the 21 May 2024
bond release inspection and other prior site inspections, the Division finds that Trapper Mining, Inc.
satisfactorily implemented approximate original contour in accordance with the approved reclamation
plan for the D/E and I Pits.
Permit Number C1981010 Prepared by: R.Reilley
SL25 Page 19 of 21
