Yeldell <br /> <br />RE: South Fruita Gravel Pit - File No. M-1981-243, Grand Junction Concrete Pipe Co. <br /> Acreage Release Request (AR-1) <br /> Release 8.82 ac associated with Phase VII (North Karp Area) <br /> <br />Please be advised that on October 23, 2024, Grand Junction Concrete Pipe Co., whose address and <br />telephone number are 556 Struthers Ave., Grand Junction, CO 81501-3826; (801) 597-4471, filed an <br />application for a/an Acreage Release Request (AR- 1) to M1981243, South Fruita Gravel Pit, which is <br />located approximately 1 miles South of Fruita, Section 20, Township 1N, Range 2W, UEth Principle <br />Meridian, in Mesa County. <br /> <br />We would like to ammend the current permit to remove 8.82 acres from Elam Construction’s mine plan to <br />turn back over to the Karp family property. <br /> <br />Written comments or objections to the application may be submitted to and additional information obtained <br />from Amy C. Yeldell at the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, 1313 Sherman St. Room 215 <br />Denver, CO 80203, by telephone at (970) 210-1272. <br /> <br />Comments or objections should be submitted within fifteen (15) days of this notice to be considered in the <br />application review process.
