<br /> <br />NOTICE <br />Consideration of Construction Materials Reclamation Permit <br />Amendment <br /> <br />DATE: October 21, 2024 <br /> <br />TO: County Planner <br />Weld County Planning Services <br />Long-Range Planner <br />1402 N. 17th Ave <br />Greeley, CO 80631-9117 <br /> <br />FROM: Nikie Gagnon <br /> <br />RE: Nissen Farm Resource - File No. M-2003-001, BURNCO Colorado, LLC <br /> Amendment (AM-1) <br /> <br /> <br />Please be advised that on October 21, 2024, BURNCO Colorado, LLC, whose address and telephone <br />number are 10100 Dallas Street, Henderson, CO 80640; (720) 215-2202, filed an application for an <br />Amendment (AM- 1) to M2003001, Nissen Farm Resource, which is located approximately 2 miles <br />northeast of Kersey, Section 12, Township 5N, Range 65W, 06th Principle Meridian, in Weld County. <br /> <br />Amendment to add 28 acres for gravel processing and stockpile area. No mining will occur in amendment <br />area. <br /> <br />A decision date has been set for January 19, 2025.Written comments or objections to the application may be <br />submitted to and additional information obtained from Nikie Gagnon at the Division of Reclamation, Mining <br />and Safety, 1313 Sherman St. Room 215 Denver, CO 80203, by telephone at (720) 527-1640. <br /> <br />BURNCO Colorado, LLC is required to publish a public notice in a newspaper of general circulation in the <br />locality of the mining operation once per week for four consecutive weeks. If you wish to make comments <br />on or objections to the mine plan and/or the reclamation plan, they must be submitted within twenty (20) days <br />of the date of the last newspaper public notice to be considered in the application review process by the <br />Division. You should contact the applicant for the newspaper publication date. If we do not receive your <br />comments or any objection by the end of the public comment period, the Division will assume you have no <br />objection or comment to the proposed activity. <br /> <br />M-GR-03A-P
