<br /> <br />Notice of Proposed Decision <br /> <br /> <br />The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety has issued a proposed decision to <br />approve Bond Release Application No. 25 (SL-25) for the Trapper Mine, Permit No. C-1981-010. <br />The surface operation is operated by Trapper Mining, Inc. under the provisions of the Colorado <br />Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act of 1979. The bond release application was submitted by <br />Trapper Mining, Inc. on December 18, 2023. A Phase I bond release on 316.5 acres in D/E and I <br />Pits reclaimed from 2008 through 2023. The affected area is located in Moffat County, <br />approximately 6 miles Southwest of Craig, Colorado. <br /> <br />Copies of the proposed decision are available for review at <br />https://dnrweblink.state.co.us/drms/search.aspx by searching C1981010 in the “Permit No” field. <br />A user guide is available to help first time users of the imaged document system and can be viewed <br />at https://drive.google.com/file/d/1l8OUdf_Mpjo3kxIHkP5hMH-w7MeBtxX7/view.. <br /> <br />Any person who has an interest which is or may be adversely affected may request an adjudicatory <br />hearing regarding this proposed decision.
