Shell Frontier Oil & Gas
Inc.
Reclamation Report
IDENTIFICATION INFORMATION:
Operation: 2006-07 Geo-hydrology Drilling and Coring Program - Public Land Prospecting
Operator: Shell Frontier Oil & Gas Inc
DRMS NOI #: P2006-037
Contact Info: Samantha Baker, SGWS Legacy Program Manager,
Shell Frontier Oil & Gas Inc.,
150 N. Dairy Ashford, Bldg. E-1040G, Houston, Texas 77079
STATUS OF RECLAMATION:
The Prospecting NOI was approved on June 19, 2007 for the development of the 2006-07 Geo-
hydrology Drilling and Coring Program - Public Land Prospecting. A Land Use Permit for
access to the pads was granted by the BLM on May 24, 20007 (#C0070849). Shell Frontier
Oil & gas Inc. (SFOGI) has elected to discontinue development of the project and requesting
partial acreage release, it has been determined that reclamation has been achieved and no
new surface disturbances were created subsequent to issuance of the NOI.
71-8-298
The 1 installed Hydrology well were plugged and abandoned fall of 2015, the plugging report
submitted to CDRMS Sept 15, 2015. The well casing was cut off at 4ft below final grade, a
metal cap welded with well name identification scribed on cap. The final reclamation phase
was completed in the fall of 2015. The pad was de-compacted and restored to existing grade,
stabilized topsoil was utilized to provide approximately 4" of topsoil covering prior to seeding.
The pad and access road was drill seeded per the approved BLM seed mix (Modified BLM
native mix#2 from 1997 BLM RMP), followed by weed free straw mulch. The continued efforts
of the noxious and annual weed management in combination with spot seeding created a
diverse vegetation throughout the pad, including volunteer Rabbit and Sage brush. CDRMS
annual inspection determined that the pad was predominant volunteer Rabbit Brush with
minimal grazing. No weeds were observed, overall vegetation is at reclamation level compared
to adjacent areas. Final reclamation has been achieved.
5
