RECEIVED <br /> SEP 162 <br /> 024 STKIN <br /> amatlon, Ou N►x <br /> Cotoradt ng and satetY <br /> C •C <br /> COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br /> September 5, 2024 <br /> Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board <br /> Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety <br /> 1313 Sherman Street, Room 215 <br /> Denver, CO 80203 <br /> RE: Aspen Mountain Mining Corporation —Compromise Mine—Limited Impact Operation <br /> Reclamation Permit Application <br /> To Whom it May Concern: <br /> The Board of County Commissioners of Pitkin County (BOCC) received a Notice of Filing <br /> Application for Hard Rock/Metal Mines Limited Impact (110) Operation from Aspen Mountain <br /> Mining Corporation for the Compromise Mine. <br /> We submit these comments to preserve the BOCC's right to a hearing before the Mined Land <br /> Reclamation Board on the application. <br /> The Application includes the following Goals: <br /> 1) Transition the Mine from the current prospecting permit to a 110 permit. <br /> 2) Allow for Limited production and sales of silver/lead/zinc ore and native silver <br /> specimins. <br /> 3) Bring back tours and allow the history of the Compromise Mine to be shared and <br /> enjoyed by the Public again. <br /> 4) Establish a future for the Mine and its historuical value to remain in place and <br /> open for future generations to enjoy and be educated of the histrory of Mining in <br /> Aspen. <br />
