Colorado Division of Minerals and geology Tourist Mine Permit#6 from May 1, 2003 <br /> through April 30th, 2013. Tours of the mine via 18 gauge locamotive and passenger cars <br /> through old and new workings as well as some of the largest open stopes in the world- <br /> one of the stopes is over 1200 feet deep. There are currentlly no active mine tours <br /> occuring at the Compromise mine. The Mine was last inspected on August 22nd, 2023 by <br /> the State of Colorado division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety and approved for <br /> Safety to conduct tours. <br /> Today, Aspen Mountain Mining Corperation LLC is proposing the following Goals of <br /> with this Mining Permit Application: <br /> 1) Transition the Mine from the current prospecting permit to a 110 peinut. <br /> 2) Allow for Limited production and sales of silver/lead/zinc ore and native silver <br /> specimins. <br /> 3) Bring back tours and allow the history of the Compromise Mine to be shared and <br /> enjoyed by the Public again. <br /> 4) Establish a future for the Mine and its historuical value to remain in place and <br /> open for future generations to enjoy and be educated of the histrory of Mining in <br /> Aspen. <br />
