LANESTON
CONCRETE INC.
Exhibit C: Pre-Mining and Mining Plan Map(s) of Affected
Lands
Please see attached Pre mining map and mining plan map.
The existing mining plan will remain unchanged. We have been mining the deposit to the North
and North-West since we purchased the property in 2015. At the current moment we have nearly
mined as far to the North as we can; with a minor exception. The previous owner of the mine left
piles of material all over the property. We have discovered there is still harvestable rock
contained within the piles discarded by the previous owner. We have spent the last 9 years
"cleaning up" or"re-processing" nearly all of these piles.
These piles have already been "mined," but they appear to have been high-graded. We are not
sure what they were high-grading, but they left a lot of rock behind when they did.
At the current, most of this leftover material is located in the North Central sector of the
property. We are still working on re-running the material to get the harvestable rock out of the
piles. It has yielded to be an inefficient process, so it is taking longer than anticipated. There is in
fact rock in the piles, but not very much of it. So, we have discovered that we cannot make great
production out of the piles when we reprocess it. Our ability to keep up with customer demand
dwindles and we have to revert to processing material out of the main face in the pit because we
can generate sales material faster.
The area in question with the Boards Order is on the North West quadrant of the property. The
long skinny circle on the map, running North& South, is where the pile of material is located
that is off the permitted property. That area of land is approximately 5acres. We piled
overburden material there due to lack of space within the rest of the mine property. The intent
was to shove it back into the pit with a dozer after we had mined the rock/sand up to it for
reclamation. We will slope the face down on a minimum of a 2:1 and or flatter.
This activity has not altered the mine plan. Nor do we intend to change the mine plan. However,
this has changed the affected area by 5 acres. The land directly to the West of our mine is a
vacant rangeland field with an oil well on it. We have no way of knowing what the future holds,
but to our knowledge, the land West of us has remained the same for the last 30 years.
CONCR€TE INC.
902 South Union Street Florence, Co 81226 (719) 784-3878 Office (719) 784-1158 Fax
