Box 66 <br />Idaho Springs, CO 80452-0066 <br /> <br /> <br />Re: Mendota Properties - File No. M-1990-147 <br /> Jack Pine Mining Company <br /> Surety Release Request (SL-1) <br /> Full and Final Release of permitted acreage. <br /> <br />Dear Deborah Rutzebeck: <br /> <br />On August 13, 2024 the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety concluded its review of the <br />Surety Release Request application submitted to the Division on July 8, 2024, addressing the <br />following: <br /> <br />Mendota Properties have been sold to Town of Silver Plume and put into conservation. This is the <br />Full and Final release of financial warranty and acreage <br /> <br />The decision reached by the Division is: Approve. <br /> <br />I am pleased to inform you that the Division of Reclamation Mining and Safety has determined that <br />Jack Pine Mining Company is eligible for release from further responsibility for the Mendota <br />Properties. In accordance with Rule 4.17.2(5), the Division is required to wait thirty (30) days from <br />this notice to allow for appeal of the Division’s decision.
