Cunningham, Director <br />July 27, 2024 <br />Kurtis Blunt <br />Blue Mountain Energy, Inc <br />3607 County Road 65 <br />Rangely, CO, 81648 <br />Re: Permit Issuance <br />Permit Renewal Application No. 8 (RN-8) <br />Deserado Mine (Permit No. C-1981-018) <br />Dear Mr. Blunt: <br />The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety's Proposed Decision to approve Permit Renewal No. 8 at the <br />Deserado Mine became final on July 27, 2024. Notice of the proposed decision was published in the <br />Rio Blanco Herald-Times on June 27, 2024, initiating the thirty (30) day public comment period for the <br />Division's decision. No requests for a formal hearing were received during the comment period. <br />Enclosed you will find two signed Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety Mining Permit <br />documents. An authorized representative of Blue Mountain Energy, Inc needs to sign both documents and <br />have them notarized. One must be returned to the Division at the above address; the other must be kept on file <br />at the mine office. <br />Please be aware that issuance of the permit renewal will initiate time frames of any enclosed stipulations to the <br />permit. Stipulations are enclosed in a rider to the permit, if any were imposed upon the permit. All other <br />enclosed commitments are also in effect as of the permit issuance.
