Review Process <br /> The Division received the RN-08 application from BME on May 8, 2024. The submittal included <br /> an application form for a permit renewal, a proposed public notice and proof of liability <br /> insurance. <br /> The RN-08 application was deemed complete on May 16, 2024. Public Notices were published <br /> in the Rio Blanco Herald Times once per week for four consecutive weeks beginning on May 23, <br /> 2024 and ending on June 13, 2024. Copies of the application were filed with the Town Clerk's <br /> Office at the Rangely Town Hall, and the Denver office of the Division. Letters regarding the <br /> RN-08 application were sent by the Division on May 16, 2024 to the Rio Blanco County <br /> Commissioners, Rio Blanco County Planning Department, Office of Archaeology and Historic <br /> Preservation,U.S. Bureau of Land Management, Department of Natural Resources —Division of <br /> Water Resources, Department of Interior - Office of Surface Mining, and Blue Mountain Energy. <br /> A comment letter was received from the Colorado Parks and Wildlife dated June I I, 2024. This <br /> letter stated that due to no modifications or revisions being proposed to the existing permit,no <br /> concerns were identified with the permit renewal. <br /> The Division had no adequacy items identified during the review of the C-1981-018 permit <br /> during the renewal process <br /> The Division conducted an Applicant Violator System check on May 29, 2024 and found that <br /> there were no violations reported for BME. The final Applicant Violator System check will be <br /> completed prior to issuance of the Permit Renewal. <br /> xx <br />
