Holcim South Platte Combined SWSP June 18, 2024 <br /> Plan IDs 3614, 4773, 3624, 4772, 4616, 3437, 3376, 3650, 3668, 5475, 5829, F± 6243 Page 15 of 26 <br /> The requested farm headgate delivery amount associated with the 8 shares in the Patterson <br /> Ditch for the period of May 1, 2023 through December 31, 2023 is 106 acre-feet with a consumptive <br /> use of 46.08 acre-feet and a return flow obligation of 59.92 acre-feet. The Applicant's deliveries <br /> under this SWSP are limited to the period of May through October. <br /> The historical return flow obligations associated with the 8 shares must be maintained under <br /> this SWSP. For the months of May through September, the daily return flow obligation will be <br /> determined by multiplying the applicable monthly return flow factor by the daily farm headgate <br /> delivery associated with the subject shares. For the months of October through December, the daily <br /> return flow obligation will be determined by multiplying the applicable monthly return flow factor by <br /> the previous year's (April through October) total deliveries associated with the subject shares, and <br /> then divided by the number of days in the month. <br /> Central Colorado Water Conservancy District <br /> Holcim has a lease of 41.0 acre-feet of augmentation water from the Central Colorado Water <br /> Conservancy District from April 1st through October 31st, 2024. <br /> Replacement Summary <br /> The proposed depletions and replacements are shown in the attached "South Platte Combined <br /> Substitute Supply Plan Accounting 2024". The transit loss for each stream was estimated as 0.5% per <br /> mile for the South Platte River and for the Cache la Poudre River east of Interstate 25, and 0.25% per <br /> mile for the Cache la Poudre River west of Interstate 25. The stream miles for each source is found <br /> on the Transit Loss spreadsheet submitted as part of the Applicant's accounting. <br /> Holcim will coordinate deliveries of changed shares back to the river from the Whitney Ditch, <br /> the Fulton Ditch, and the Greeley Irrigation Canal with the Water Commissioners. Holcim will also <br /> coordinate deliveries of changed shares to the Lighthouse Cove Pond for recharge with the Water <br /> Commissioner. Holcim will track and provide the amount of water available, the amount of water <br /> requested, and the amount of water delivered on a daily basis or as required by the water <br /> commissioner. <br /> Prior to using a downstream replacement source for upstream depletions, or prior to <br /> operating any administrative exchange, the Applicant shall be required to provide 48 hours advanced <br /> notice and obtain prior approval from the Water Commissioners. Any use of downstream replacement <br /> sources for upstream depletions, or any operation of an administrative exchange, can only operate <br /> when there is sufficient streamf low and no intervening call for water within the impacted reach. <br /> Additional Water Supplies - Not Currently Authorized for Use in this SWSP <br /> The Applicant owns or has/may obtain the right to use the following additional water <br /> supplies, which are not currently included as authorized replacement sources in this SWSP.
