RECLAMATION COST ESTIMATE
The following Reclamation Cost estimate is based on the
assumption that there will be no more than 8 . 67 acres ± dis-
turbed area of which only 5 acres will need reclaiming at any-
one-time. The mine working face will be 550 ft long by 30 feet
high and that when it comes time to resoil the area, an average
of 5 inches of soil would be spread over the disturbed area. At
that time we will have to respread 5, 830 cubic yards of topsoil
and move 4, 311 cy of cut\fill sloping to graded the working face
from 1 : 1 to 3 : 1 . The table below outlines the various areas of
disturbance at the time explained above . A D6N Cat Dozer is
used to estimate the shaping and resoiling costs in this calcu-
lation and the mobilization haul distance is 17 miles from Otis
Colorado. The revegetation cost figure used includes fertil-
izer, grass seed, mulch, labor and drilling costs .
