The weather was clear on the day of inspection.
HYDROLOGIC BALANCE - Rule 4.05
Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, 4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7, 4.05.10;
Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13;
Drainage – Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; Impoundments 4.05.6, 4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18:

Ponds G, F (photo 1), E, and B all contained water and appeared to be stable.
Pond D (photo 2) contained water and was being cleaned on the east end. A long boom excavator was set up on a
constructed berm to access the center part of the pond.
The water in the passive treatment ponds (photo 3) near the 6MN reservoir seems to be really low.

GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE:
The main coal stockpile contained very little coal (photo 4).
The loadout stockpile also contained very little coal (photo 5).
The road to the coal refuse pile area was being maintained by a motor grader.

DOCUMENTS RECEIVED: none
ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS/COMPLIANCE

No enforcement actions were initiated as a result of this inspection, nor are any pending.
