GBEA 10
6.The Reclamation Plan states that reclamation will be incremental, approximately 1 acre at a time. What is the
maximum number of unreclaimed acres to be affected at any time?
We assume the maximum number of unreclaimed acres to be affected at anyone time refers to acres
that have been mined and can be reclaimed in an appropriate time frame.
Given the nature of pit operations and the leasing of equipment to facilitate the mining and reclaiming
of the pit, the uncertain demand for product , an incremental method of reclaiming is preferred. The
cycle of operations would normally be, mine an area until the owner-operator decides to reclaim, then
reclaim. The length and timing of this cycle is based upon previously stated variables. Hence the one
acre increments.
It is possible that if an intense operational scenario is implemented, it might be that upwards of 4 acres
could be available for reclamation. This would include portions of both the north and south facing
areas of the hill. It is likely that this scenario is improbable.
Thus,4 acres (see question 10).
Wagner Pit#M2023038,Owner& Operator:Twin Buttes Land Co LLC
Wednesday, May 29, 2024
