Exhibit D-2 displays the mining plan overview for 2025 through 2028. These area will be mined to
depths that allow drainage but will not exceed 25' below the pervious pit floor. The dry screening
plant and stockpiles will be moved as the mining progresses. Product stockpiles will mostly remain
in the pit. Ramps and service roads will be kept convenient for trucking and mine equipment.
Exhibit D-3 displays the forecast mining plan for the North Pit in 2029-2030. The North Pit's SW
side is open and overlooks the Arkansas River. Drainage will be directed towards the river with
cutoff ditches for seepage and floor slopes for sheet runoff.
The North Pit is currently used for stockpiles of stripped overburden and crushed road base. Access
is through the Buffer Area to the east of the MRA. The roadway is at-20 feet from original surface
elevation. Alternatively, the North Pit can be accessed by ramps up and over the MRA.
.- 7 'C'
4/ `^ t^ s aaia sera acre.a
 1
is
 h 150
 s ^
1 Butala Gravel Pit—Salida, CO -
EXH.
