Sheets 1,2 and 3, General Facilities for a location of the facility and pipeline. The borehole will be <br /> permitted with the Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission (COGCC). The borehole well <br /> string will consist of approximately 60' of 13 -Is" steel casing. The pipeline will consist of <br /> approximately 7000'of 14"HDPE pipeline. The pipeline will be buried in the road immediately west <br /> of the portal area, but will come to the surface as it turns north and is routed cross-country. Certain <br /> sections of the pipe may need to be buried where needed at road crossings,and as conditions warrant. <br /> The pipeline will terminate at the Elk Creek Generator and Thermal Oxidation Facility. The methane <br /> from the sealed mine will be used in the thermal oxidizer or the electric generator sets to supplement <br /> the gas obtained from the Elk Creek Mine. NFELLC indicates they need a pad with a top dimension <br /> of approximately a 130' x 25' finished pad area no higher than on a 25' high fill and consisting of <br /> approximately 2,000 cy of 611. <br /> S. Colorado Department of'Transportation (CDO'l) Contract Sl I 133 Bowie Resurfacing Project <br /> Contractor Office and Staging area. During 2018, CDOT will be having Highway 133 resurfaced in <br /> the Somerset,CO area. The Construction Contractor, United Companies,will lease the area south of <br /> the Elk Creek Mine Bath House for the purpose of staging trailers,construction equipment,workers, <br /> and materials in conjunction with the construction project. The primary items to be staged at the site <br /> are: one 12 foot by 32 foot mobile office trailer,one 12 foot by 60 foot mobile office trailer,two each <br /> portable toilets and one mobile dumpster. The mobile trailers are connected to electricity only, no <br /> water or other utilities. United Companies shall return the property to its present condition at the end <br /> of the lease. The construction is expected to be completed by September 30, 2018. ALL <br /> EQUIPMENT WAS REMOVED BY OCTOBER 2018. <br /> T. Gunnison Energy I,LC. (GELLC) proposes to conduct a 3-D seismic program on portions of the <br /> surface of the Elk Creek Ivtine Permit. The earliest proposed action is expected to begin no earlier <br /> than spring of 2019,during dry conditions. Mobilization of drilling or any heavy equipment will begin <br /> on July 1,2019 on Federal land,and done in consultation with Colorado Parks and Wildlife(CP\X) on <br /> private land,if any work begins before Jul}, 1,1. <br /> The 3-D seismic program will be conducted in three phases. The first phase (seismic surveying) will <br /> include land surveying of source and receiver locations along with access in support of cultural <br /> resource surveys on USFS lands, which will be conducted concurrently with the seismic land <br /> surveying. The second phase is shot drilling. The final phase will be the recording phase and will <br /> include the placement of source and receiver lines, continued shot hole drilling, data acquisition,and <br /> cleanup. The project includes the possible use of vibroseis buggies along roads and other locations <br /> where appropriate and shot holes (buggy drilled and heliportable as appropriate) as the energy source. <br /> Shot holes are 3 inch diameter, drilled 20 to 60 feet deep and are loaded with 2 to 5 pounds of <br /> explosive. The seismic program is anticipated to last approximately 40-60 days. Vehicles bringing <br /> suiveyors to and from the project area will remain on existing roads and trails. Crews will travel cross <br /> country on all-terrain vehicles and on foot during the survey. There will be no surface disturbance <br /> within the permit boundary associated with this project. <br /> U. Gunnison Energy, LLC. (GELLC), in connection with its Iron Point Unit expansion plans, <br /> proposes to install a standalone pumping and piping system to convey water from the Oxbow Mining, <br /> LLC intake location to storage locations located north of the Oxbow permit area. This system will <br /> support GELLC activities and is entirely separate from Oxbow Mining Facilities or reclamation <br /> activities. The system will consist of approximately 9 miles of an 8 inch diameter high pressure <br /> pipeline, three pump stations and associated equipment. The majority of the pipeline will be surface <br /> piping, but will be buried at crossings. Refer to drawing 2.05-h11 sheet 6 of 6 for the route and <br /> pump locations. <br /> GELLC is a bonded Operator with COGCC.Gunnison Energy,LLC's Colorado Oil and Gas <br /> Operator Number is 10515 and has a downstream gas facilities blanket bond in place. GELLC will <br /> acquire all necessary permits and agreements from Gunnison and Delta Counties, Bureau of Land <br /> Management and private Land Owners. <br /> MR-111 2.05-23e Rev. July 2019 <br />
