Cg3 --24 to 40 inches; pale brown (10YR 6/3)very gravelly loamy coarse sand, yellowish brown (10YR 5/4) moist; few fine distinct strong brown (7.5YR 5/6) and light gray (10YR 7/1) mottles; single-grain; loose, loose, non-sticky, non-plastic; few fine roots; 55 percent gravel; neutral (pH 6.8). Oe --24 to 35 inches; very dark grayish brown (10YR 3/2) partially decomposed plant roots that is 75 percent fibers unrubbed and 25 percent after rubbing; strongly acid (pH 5.5).
