Al -- 0 to 5 inches; gravelly loam, dark reddish brown (5YR 3/2) moist; weak fine subangular
blocky structure parting to weak fine granular; very friable, nonsticky, nonplastic; many very
fine and fine roots; many fine interstitial pores; 18 percent sandstone rock fragments; slightly
alkaline; clear smooth boundary.
A2 -- 5 to 12 inches; very gravelly loam, dark reddish brown (5YR 3/3) moist; weak fine
subangular blocky structure parting to weak fine granular; very friable, slightly sticky,
nonplastic; common very fine and many fine roots; many fine interstitial pores; 40 percent
sandstone rock fragments; neutral; clear wavy boundary.
Bw -- 12 to 17 inches; extremely cobbly fine sandy clay loam, red (2.5YR 4/6) moist; weak fine
