(W WL),on behalf of Pinon Ridge Mining LLC(PRM)is
submitting this technical revision(TR)to present proposed changes to the original St.Jude Mine
Permit(No. M-1978-039HR),a 110d—Designated Limited Impact operation. The proposed
changes will impact Exhibit D and E,Reclamation Plan and Map or"Plan"of the permit. The
proposed changes involve the construction of a compressor pad within the mine permit affected
area. The compressor pad will be used to house and operate two electrically powered air
compressors and two 500-gallon fuel storage tanks, both of which will service underground
drilling operations. In addition, this TR addresses the installation of a portable magnesium
chloride storage tank on site to support dust suppression operations.
The purpose of this TR is to describe new construction and equipment installation within the
existing affected am of the St. Jude Mine. No new acreage will be disturbed at the mine site. In
addition, reclamation methods we proposed. This TR presents background information and
project rationale in Section 2.0. All five mines
lie within mineral claims held by PRM.The St.Jude Mine is located in NW V. SW'/. Section
13, Township 44 N, Range 18 W,N.M.P.M.in San Miguel,County, Colorado.
PRM is in the process of mining operations at the Sunday Mine and St. Jude Mine.Uranium ore
is being mined and stored underground. To provide for more efficient development of access
drifts and tunnels and ore extraction, PRM is upgrading air compressor facilities from dieseugas
powered system to an electrically powered system. This upgrade will increase overall mining
efficiency by reducing 1)hydrocarbon fuel use and transport costs,2)the risk of fuel spills,3)
maintenance time, and 4)the overall carbon footprint of operations.
Western Water& Land, Inc. t
