L Lewicki & Associates
ENGINEERING I GEOLOGY I ENVIRONMENTAL
May 10, 2024
Elliott Russell
Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety
1313 Sherman St, Rm 215
Denver, CO 80203
RE: London Mine, File No., M-2023-015
110D Reclamation Permit
Technical Revision 01
Mr. Russell
MineWater LLC is incorporating excavation, haulage, and processing of abandoned pre-law waste
material to its London Mine 110D permit via a technical revision. Numerous piles of abandoned pre-
law waste material can be found within the region around the London Mine. The London Mine is
uniquely suited to handle this material. Given that size and locations of piles can vary, London Mine
is adding to its Exhibit U— Environmental Protection Plan a Standard Operating Procedure for the
excavation of the identified material.
A Park County grading permit has already been issued for the first identified location and is
attached. The county grading permit provided local oversight of earth moving activities, including
financial surety for reclamation. All pre-law abandoned waste material excavated in Park County
outside of approved CDRMS affected areas will be covered by a grading permit. London Mine will
maintain copies of all active grading permits at their offices and appropriate county signage will be
posted at each excavation.
Please see the attached addition to Exhibit U.
Please feel free to contact my office with any further questions on this application.
Regards,
Ben Langenfeld, P.E.
Lewicki &Associates, PLLC
(720) 842-5321, ex. 1
benl(clewicki biz
London Mine TRO1
May 2024 May
81 Associates
