EXHIBIT I SOILS INFORMATION
1 . General
A soil report was generated using the United States Department of Agriculture's NRCS Web
Soil Survey (WSS)2 and is included in this exhibit as Appendix 1-1 at the end of this exhibit. The
WSS provides soil data and information produced by the National Cooperative Soil Survey. The
majority of the soil on the property is Levitt loam and Tine gravelly sandy loam. Soils are
mapped on Map C-1.
2. Suitability for Reclamation Revegetation
The two soil types provide up to 12 inches of suitable material for revegetation. Neither are
considered prime farmland according to the NRCS surrey. However, they are suitable for the
post mine land use of dry rangeland. The A-horizon of the soil profile was used as the basis for
determining the topsoil stripping depth during mining operations.
2 httys:/,Iwebsoilsurvev.sc.egov.usda.i4ov/App/'HomePaL,,e.htm.
Lockhart Pit
March 2024 t-1 ®Lewicki&Associates
