Drainage basins 1 and 2 represent the areas <br /> that drain directly to the east and west pod areas before, during, and after mining. Drainage <br /> basins 3 &4 are for the diversion ditch drainage basins during mining only. <br /> All stormwater designs are based on the 100-YR 24-HR storm event for this area of Colorado. <br /> Runoff modelling is conducted for both operating and reclaimed conditions.
