This form is not intended for reporting of possible violations or illegal activity. Please be as specific
as possible.
Comment/Objection Narrative *
With all the information being collected and shared throughout the community with regards to this permit, I find
myself supporting the operation in its efforts to clean up existing tailings that are currently free to leach into the
surrounding watershed. I trust that safety measures are in place for many what if scenarios in the event an
environmental emergency occurs. I think spelling out what these contingencies will be would assist in my ability
respond as a citizen of this place and also as a steward of the land. I feel it's important the regenerative efforts
be made to both the site of the original tailings and with any waste that is created in this next phase of
reclamation. Please ensure the applicant educates the public about safety and what happens when the
unexpected happens. While I am in support of the reclamation, I do care about any noise or light pollution that
will happen as a result of 24/7 operations. Make sure all outdoor lighting is consistent with Dark Sky
International codes. Make sure all noise ordinances are mitigated by limiting the operation hours within normal
business hours. While these last two requests may be more town/county regulated, I'd like it recorded here to
recognize the operation is not without any impact to the environment.
Permit Number*
Enter valid letter and then numbers, for example M1977999, M1999777UG or C1981201.
M1990057
Permitting Action Type
Select revision type or leave blank if comment pertains to a new permit application or NOI
Permit Type
County
Lake
Enter one county only
Site Name
