Syracuse Way, Suite 450 <br />Greenwood Village, CO 80111 <br /> <br /> <br />Re: Mid-Continent LST - File No. M-1982-121 <br /> RMR Aggregates, Inc. <br /> Technical Revision (TR-6) <br /> Technical Revision for Stipulated Agreement <br /> <br />Dear Gregory Dangler: <br /> <br />On February 29, 2024 the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety concluded its review of the <br />Technical Revision application submitted to the Division on November 29, 2023, addressing the <br />following: <br /> <br />This revision provides answers to CODRMS questions related to the Mid-Continent Quarry <br />geotechnical report. These are the redacted versions of the documents. <br /> <br />The decision reached by the Division is: approve. Approve the Geotechnical Engineering Report <br />which proposes how to safeguard the highwall. The report has been reviewed by the Division’s <br />Engineer and all questions and comments have been sufficiently addressed. This TR does not <br />authorize the Operator to initiate the methods discussed in the report. Nor does it allow the Operator <br />to circumvent any other agency’s requirements. A mine plan modification at a later date will be <br />required to address specifically how the methodologies for safeguarding will be implemented on site. <br />The Division will review the reclamation cost estimate under a separate revision. <br /> <br />The terms of Technical Revision No. 6 approved by the Division are hereby incorporated into Permit <br />No. M-1982-121. All other conditions and requirements of Permit No. M-1982-121 remain in full <br />force and effect. <br /> <br /> <br />Bond Held: $366,179.00 <br />Prior Liability: $366,179.00 <br />Change in Liability: $0.00 <br />Revised Liability: $366,179.00 <br />Prior Permit Acreage: 38.00
