Additional details regarding hydrology & water quality are provided in the <br /> Groundwater Monitoring and Mitigation Plan (Attachment 2). <br /> (2)No earthen dams will need to be constructed. <br /> (3) All surface areas, including spoil piles, will be stabilized to effectively control <br /> erosion using appropriate erosion control measures. <br /> 3.1.7 Groundwater—Specific Requirements: <br /> (1) The Site is located within Classified Area: City of Fort Lupton Wellfield, Weld <br /> County (WQCC Regulation No. 42). Water quality standards applicable to the Site are <br /> presented in the Groundwater Monitoring and Mitigation Plan (Attachment 2). <br /> (2)Not Applicable - The Site is located within a classified area. <br /> (3)Not Applicable - The Site is located within classified area. <br /> (4) Procedures for establishing compliance with standards promulgated by the WQCC <br /> are presented in the Groundwater Monitoring and Mitigation Plan (Attachment 2). <br /> (5) Details of the groundwater quality monitoring program for the Site are presented in <br /> the Groundwater Monitoring and Mitigation Plan(Attachment 2). <br /> (6) Monitoring wells MW-4, MW-5, and MW-6 will serve as the Point of Compliance <br /> wells for the Site. Details of the groundwater quality monitoring program for the Site <br /> are presented in the Groundwater Monitoring and Mitigation Plan(Attachment 2). <br /> (7) Details of the groundwater quality monitoring program for the Site are presented in <br /> the Groundwater Monitoring and Mitigation Plan(Attachment 2). <br /> (8)By implementing the groundwater quality monitoring program for the Site presented <br /> in the Groundwater Monitoring and Mitigation Plan (Attachment 2), ASCI will be able <br /> to demonstrate existing and reasonably potential future uses of groundwater are <br /> protected. <br /> (9) As detailed in the Groundwater Monitoring and Mitigation Plan (Attachment 2), <br /> ASCI will provide a written report within five(5) working days when there is evidence <br /> of groundwater discharges exceeding applicable groundwater standards or permit <br /> conditions imposed to protect groundwater quality. <br /> 3.1.8 Wildlife: No threatened or endangered species are present at the Site. <br /> (1) Wildlife habitat types currently present include pastureland and the South Platte <br /> River riparian corridor. The riparian corridor is outside the mining and backfill areas. <br /> (2)Neither habitat creation nor habitat management is part of the reclamation. The land <br /> will be returned to rangeland use. <br />
