Hampton Ave., Suite 935 <br /> Englewood,CO 80110 <br /> RE: Schwartzwalder Mine,Permit No.M-1977-300,Notice of Commencement of <br /> Reclamation <br /> Mr. Harrington, <br /> On December 13, 2023,the Mined Land Reclamation Board (MLRB) ordered the revocation of the <br /> Reclamation Permit for the Schwartzwalder Mine and forfeiture of the financial warranty. This <br /> letter is being sent to provide you with notice of the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety's <br /> (DRMS) intent to commence reclamation work at the Schwartzwalder Mine, including operation of <br /> the water treatment plant,by April 1, 2024. Pursuant to C.R.S. 34-32-118,the DRMS shall have a <br /> right of entry to reclaim all affected lands. Due to the perpetual nature of the project,the DRMS <br /> would like to secure an additional access agreement with Colorado Legacy Land,LLC (CLL) to <br /> ensure that DRMS and its contractors have continued access to the site for the purposes of operating <br /> the water treatment plant. <br /> The DRMS is requesting a meeting with CLL or their representatives to discuss the logistics of <br /> accessing the site and the facilities.
