• The diversion ditches and culverts associated with the haul road <br />will not be removed at the completion of loadout activity as the <br />haul road will remain as a permanent access to State Highway 133 <br />for the landowners. These ditches will be located, constructed, <br />and maintained to avoid erosion and will not increase contribution <br />of sediment load to runoff. <br />None of the temporary or permanent diversions will handle runoff <br />from an area with a watershed greater than one square mile. <br />Stream Channel Diversions <br />No intermittent or perennial streams will be diverted or relocated <br />by TCC as none exist in the facility area. <br />Sediment Control Measures <br />Sediment control measures to be implemented are shown on the <br />Sediment Control and Small Area Exemption Map, (Map 14). These <br />facilities, consisting of diversion ditches, ponds and sediment <br />fences, will be located, constructed and maintained to avoid <br />• erosion and will not increase contribution of sediment load to <br />runoff. <br />TCC plans to disturb only the amount of area necessary for the <br />loadout facility. Although the primary means of sediment control <br />are diversion structures and ponds, TCC will utilize if necessary <br />straw dikes, riprap, check dams, mulches, vegetative, sediment <br />filters, dugout ponds, or other measures that reduce the overland <br />flow velocity of runoff volume. <br />Sedimentation Pond and Dugout Pond <br />The location of the sedimentation pond and dugout pond is presented <br />on the Sedimentation Control and Small Area Exemption Map, (Map <br />14). The design plan for the sedimentation pond is shown of the <br />Sedimentation Pond Design Map, (Map 7).
