Bowles <br /> <br />RE: Greeley 35th Ave Pit - File No. M-1977-036, Martin Marietta Materials, Inc. <br /> Surety Reduction Request Application (SR-1) <br /> Surety Reduction for the West Cell Reservoir <br /> <br />Please be advised that on February 16, 2024, Martin Marietta Materials, Inc., whose address and <br />telephone number are 1800 N. Taft Hill Road, Fort Collins, CO 80521; (970) 227-4041, filed an <br />application for a/an Surety Reduction Request (SR- 1) to M1977036, Greeley 35th Ave Pit, which <br />is located approximately 0.5 miles North of Greely, Section 35, Township 6N, Range 66W, 06th <br />Principle Meridian, in Weld County. <br /> <br />Surety reduction was requested to reduce the surety by $2,591,735 for the completion and <br />obtaining DWR approval of the West Cell Reservoir <br /> <br />The application decision is scheduled for April 16, 2024. Written comments or objections to the <br />application may be submitted to and additional information obtained from Brock F. Bowles at the <br />Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, 1313 Sherman St. Room 215 <br />Denver, CO 80203, by telephone at (303) 866-3567 x 8142. <br /> <br />Comments or objections should be submitted within fifteen (15) days of this notice to be considered <br />in the application review process.
